Assistive Devices SAM is a department within Region Gävleborg with a business area that encompasses assistive devices for people with mobility impairments, speech and language difficulties, as well as cognitive and medical functional limitations. Assistive Devices SAM offers and provides: • Rental and sales of assistive devices • Fitting and adaptation of assistive devices • Technical maintenance of assistive devices • Information and training Through its unique expertise in technology, rehabilitation, and logistics, Assistive Devices SAM has the ability to meet the requirements of prescribers and users for good and efficient assistive device provision. We are committed to providing professional reception with experienced and helpful staff. We are now seeking a unit manager for the Consulting Team with placement in Gävle. 1 position(s). RESPONSIBILITIES As unit manager for the Consulting Team, we offer you an operational and business-oriented leadership role in a function with strong customer focus. You will be responsible for leading and developing the unit so that we deliver service and support with high quality, good conduct, and efficient case management. You have overall responsibility for operations, staff, finances, and work environment, and you drive the development of working methods and processes based on the needs of the business and our customers. You will supervise approximately 20 employees and are part of the department's management group, reporting to the department manager. As unit manager you will • be responsible for personnel, work environment, finances, quality, and follow-up • plan, lead, develop, and follow up on operations • drive improvement and development initiatives • be an active and present leader in daily operations • be responsible for ensuring that consultations, fittings, and adaptations are carried out • be responsible for shaping the training activities based on needs from the prescribing organization.
