We are seeking a Unit Manager for the Community Development division to oversee the implementation of investment projects at facilities and installations. You will lead a unit of approximately 10 employees. The unit plays a vital role in renewing and developing the municipality's facilities to meet future needs and increased requirements in areas such as environment and safety. As Unit Manager, you are an important part of the division's management and contribute to business development through close collaboration with other unit managers and other operations. Responsibilities The unit is responsible for implementing investment projects at facilities and installations, from planning and procurement to design and production. In this role, you lead, develop and follow up on the unit's operations and employees. You are responsible for ensuring that investment projects are executed with high quality, efficient financial management and adherence to set timelines. An important part of the task is to develop project methodology, procedures and working methods to create an efficient and fit-for-purpose project operation. You also have responsibility for business planning, follow-up and resource utilization within the unit. The role involves close collaboration with other units to ensure successful project implementation and well-functioning integration. As part of the division's management, you also contribute to strategic development and work to create long-term sustainable solutions that meet future needs. Qualifications We are looking for an experienced leader with the ability to create engagement, structure and good results. You have a strategic perspective while driving the work forward in a clear and operationally focused manner. We want you to have: Higher education or university degree in, for example, roads and water, civil engineering or building technology, or other experience that we consider equivalent. Experience leading operations, projects or teams. Experience with projects in the construction and installation sector. It is an advantage if you have: Experience as a manager with personnel, operational and budget responsibility. Experience from water and sewerage operations or investment projects within water and wastewater. As a person, you are communicative, development-oriented, organized and clear in your leadership. You have good collaboration skills and easily build trusting relationships.
