This is a job for someone who wants to take responsibility. Welcome to the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. We are seeking a unit manager for Archive Law in the Operations Support department. The department is responsible for information management, archives, scanning, general case handling support, procurement, office services, facilities management, physical security and sustainability, and consists of approximately 450 people. Close leadership, development and cross-functional collaboration As a unit manager, you are the manager closest to the employees and operations. You are responsible for leading and driving daily work based on the department's mission and goals, with state values permeating your work. Through your leadership, you communicate clear expectations, monitor goals and provide your employees with the right conditions to take responsibility. You have personnel responsibility as well as results and follow-up responsibility for the teams in your unit. You also represent the Swedish Social Insurance Agency in external collaborations. Your unit consists of operations specialists/archivists who are responsible for managing and standardizing information management and archive matters within the Swedish Social Insurance Agency and provide expert support on complex information management issues at the agency. The unit also drives its own development within information management and digital preservation. Through close leadership, you create the predictability, security and sustainability necessary for employees to take responsibility and meet the need for change. You create understanding of context, direction and the department's goals and develop the plans your operations need. As a unit manager, you support the area manager and participate in the area's management group where you contribute your expertise and commitment. You adapt and exercise your leadership in a way that enables employees to use their judgment and expertise. The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. It is therefore important that you have strong security awareness.
