The Culture and Recreation Department consists of units for library, culture and cultural heritage, cultural school, youth activities, and sports, facilities, parks, nature, and harbor. The department is part of the Education Sector. This position is unit manager for sports and facilities. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for someone who wants to take responsibility for the exciting task of leading the development of Stenungsund Arena and our sports facilities with a focus on citizens and association life. You are responsible for both operations and finances as well as personnel within the department. As manager of sports and facilities, you lead and develop the management and operations of Stenungsund Arena and other sports facilities in the municipality. You are responsible for approximately 25 employees who work with the facilities and operations in close collaboration with the association life. You are part of the management team for Culture and Recreation together with unit managers for culture, cultural school, library, youth activities, parks, nature, and the manager of Culture and Recreation. Stenungsund Arena currently consists of a swimming hall, ice hall, sports hall and other operational facilities, a bowling hall, cafeteria, and a large outdoor sports area. The unit is also responsible for the development of the arena and other facilities as well as association life. Your role is to work together with employees and in close cooperation with Facilities Management to maintain and develop the facilities to make them as attractive as possible for the municipality's residents, but also for those visiting the municipality. Collaboration with the municipality's substantial association life is a prerequisite for the work. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with leadership experience with budget and personnel responsibility. You have good knowledge of finance and operations management as well as experience from operations and delivery organizations and from revenue-financed operations. You have higher education, post-secondary education, or equivalent within a relevant field. The position requires that you have good leadership qualities and good collaboration skills. Therefore, great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
