Health and care are currently undergoing a transformation journey where we will expand the number of unit managers to reduce the number of employees per manager. Therefore, we are now seeking a unit manager within home care and personal assistance in the West area, who wants to lead the operations through change and contribute to development in Tierp municipality. In the area, you will be one of three unit managers who will lead the operations together in shared leadership. As a unit manager, you have an important role in leading the operation forward together with employees and management colleagues. Through trust-based leadership, you create conditions for participation, job satisfaction, and development in everyday work. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As a unit manager for home care West and personal assistance, you will lead, develop, and ensure quality in the operation so that users receive safe, professional, and person-centered support. You are responsible for translating the operation's goals into practical action and creating good conditions for both employees and the operation's development. The role includes leading and developing the operation, where you drive daily work forward, follow up on results, and ensure that the operation maintains high quality and complies with applicable legislation, guidelines, and goals. You have personnel, budget, and work environment responsibility, where you work systematically with planning, scheduling, recruitment, competence development, and follow-up. You create a sustainable work environment where employees thrive and grow. The work tasks also include ensuring good quality for users, where you follow up on services, work with deviations, and develop methods to ensure safety, participation, and continuity. On behalf of the area manager, you also drive strategic goals together with your unit manager colleagues within health and care. The assignment thus involves extensive collaboration internally and externally. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have a degree from a social care program, social work program, or other higher education or training in combination with management experience that we assess as equivalent and relevant for the assignment. For the position, it is required that you have several years of work experience within health and care operations, preferably within both elderly care and LSS services. Experience from management or leadership work within the field is a merit. You should be well familiar with applicable legislation that governs the operation. As a leader, you are confident, communicative, and can handle change processes. You are characterized by your driving and courageous way of working, your social skills, and your enthusiasm is contagious. You have good collaboration abilities and see the bigger picture. If you also have a sense of humor, you will fit in well with us. Great weight is placed on personal suitability and social skills.
