As Unit Manager Facility Decommissioning, you will have a central role in one of Sweden's most long-term and societally important assignments. Together with your team, you contribute to ensuring that decommissioning work is carried out safely, efficiently, and with high quality, while creating conditions for employees and operations to develop in a changing environment. About Us As a manager, you will lead the unit's work in safety documentation, adaptation of systems for decommissioning, and develop strategies to enable environmentally safe dismantling of all systems within the decommissioning area. About the Job As a manager, you have overall responsibility for operations, employees, and results within the unit. You lead a group of qualified employees and create conditions for open collaboration where people can develop and contribute their expertise. You operate in an organization that changes over time and are expected to create clarity, direction, and engagement even when circumstances develop or change. In the role, you will, among other things: Lead, coach, and develop employees Create clear goals, priorities, and expectations for operations Drive change and development work in close collaboration with other parts of the organization Ensure that operations are conducted with a focus on safety, quality, and long-term sustainability Build strong collaborations both within Ringhals and with external stakeholders Contribute to strategic choices and the development of future decommissioning operations Requirements About You To thrive in this role, we see that you are a leader who creates security and clarity through an open and trustful approach. You are communicative, unpretentious, and present in your leadership. Through dialogue, feedback, and trust in your team's expertise, you create engagement and development. You feel comfortable leading in a changing organization and have the ability to navigate even when not all answers are available from the start. You see change as something natural and help others understand direction, purpose, and next steps. We are looking for someone who has: Relevant university/college education or equivalent education/experience Several years of experience creating results through other people and leading qualified employees, for example as a manager, project manager, or in another leadership role where you coordinated engineers or specialist expertise Good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing Experience with operations development and change management It is advantageous if you have experience from: Nuclear power operations Decommissioning or dismantling operations Process industry Large projects or project-intensive operations As a person, you are structured and have the ability to create a holistic perspective on complex issues. You enjoy collaborating across organizational boundaries and make well-reasoned decisions based on operational needs. At the same time, you have the courage to be clear, set direction, and create conditions for success together with others.
