Dalsvägen 23 in Gunnebo We are now seeking a unit manager for our specialized residential facility Dalsvägen 23 and home care service in Gunnebo, who with commitment and trust, together with staff members, wants to contribute to providing our elderly with good care and developing our operations. Your Tasks We offer a fun and challenging job where you, together with your staff members, contribute to our clients receiving a meaningful and active everyday life. You will work close to the operations to gain understanding of our clients' daily lives and work closely with your staff to see what the operations need in preparation for future needs. The role of unit manager means you have overall responsibility for the unit, including budget, personnel, quality and work environment responsibility. All our operations should be characterized by good treatment and we work with an activating and salutogenic approach. By working with a flexible work method, we will meet our clients' individual needs. You contribute with your expertise and commitment so that together with your staff members you can develop your work environment and run the operations in the best way. You are a person who thinks innovatively and dares to reconsider what is not working and find new solutions. The role of unit manager is both operational and strategic and you appreciate a dynamic work day. The need for your attention shifts constantly between daily operational matters and the overall tasks that the operations should perform in accordance with the political decisions that have been made. As a manager in Västervik municipality, you are part of a management development program where you have the opportunity to exchange experiences with other managers in the municipality. You will work in a team together with other unit managers in your area and other professionals. Your Qualifications We are seeking you who have a post-secondary education in care and health services, behavioral science, organization and leadership or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have previous experience in work leadership and/or personnel responsibility, preferably in specialized residential care or home care. We also see it as meritorious if you have experience working in care or social work, but also if you have knowledge in the areas of budget work, work environment work and work with group processes and group development. As a leader in our organization, we see that you are a secure, present and stable person who sees structure as essential for a good workplace. Your leadership style is characterized by trust-based leadership where you support and engage your staff members and work actively for good cooperation. You take advantage of new ideas and suggestions and create good conditions for staff development. You have a genuine interest in people and our operations and want to be a leader who contributes with knowledge and commitment. You find it easy to communicate in a clear manner that ensures your message gets through and that expectations are clear for all involved, whether it concerns staff members, clients or relatives. The position requires you to take responsibility for your task and be able to drive your work forward. It comes naturally to you to see things from a holistic perspective and find the solutions that are needed. You also have a high degree of personal maturity, a good ability to cooperate and find it easy to understand other people's perspectives. You are a person who has good knowledge of the Swedish language, finds it easy to express yourself in speech and writing and enjoys working with and learning new computer systems.
