In this role, you work independently during night shifts, responsible for care and nursing of the residents. You contribute to safety during the night and work to ensure that each resident receives as meaningful and dignified daily life as possible. Your work tasks include: Personal care such as hygiene and dressing/undressing Help with daily tasks such as cleaning and laundry Social stimulation and activities Medication management End-of-life care and palliative care Reporting and documentation You collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, unit managers, and licensed personnel, and maintain close contact with family members. Your competence To succeed in this role, we believe you are confident working independently and have the ability to plan and structure your work well. You are stable and can handle an eventful daily routine while maintaining composure in unforeseen or acute situations. You have good teamwork skills and consider the individual's and the operation's best interests in your actions and decision-making. We place great importance on personal suitability! Requirements for the position Trained nursing assistant Previous experience in care and nursing professions Good knowledge of Swedish in speech, writing, and reading comprehension, as the work involves extensive contact with residents, family members, and colleagues, as well as written documentation Good computer skills and ability to use digital tools for documentation Merits Experience with night work Experience working in special housing settings The work requires physical mobility as situations arise that cannot be anticipated and must be solved in a manner suited to the situation. Read more here Welcome to us Havsörnens äldreboende has 36 apartments distributed across four units. The residence is staffed around the clock and is a full-service accommodation. During 2023, a decision was made that all units should have a dementia focus. We work according to the national values foundation where good care, self-determination, and well-being are in focus. Our residents with dementia have the opportunity to participate in the BPSD registry where symptoms are evaluated and monitored regularly. What emerges from the registrations permeates the care plan and forms the basis for good care and treatment. Havsörnens äldreboende is located in Råslätt center within walking distance of services such as a hairdresser, well-stocked grocery store, postal services, restaurant, and café. There is also proximity to lush nature and lovely walking paths. Accessibility for visitors is good with ample parking adjacent to the residence and excellent bus connections. Good to know The recruitment is for a permanent position, full-time, for evening and night shifts with start date by agreement. Although working hours are mostly scheduled for evening and night, some daytime work may also occur. You work every other weekend.
