Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced special education teacher who wants to help establish and develop our newly opened resource school, Bergshöjdens skola. With us, you will have a central and operational role where, together with colleagues, you create a safe, structured, and developmental learning environment for students with extensive needs for special support.
As a special education teacher with us, you will:
work closely and operationally with students in daily school activities
plan, implement, and follow up on instruction based on students' individual needs and circumstances
contribute specialized pedagogical expertise to the work team and the school's development efforts
assess students' needs and monitor their academic and social development
be responsible, together with other pedagogical staff, for following up on pedagogical documentation linked to intervention plans and other support measures, as well as implementing these
participate in the work with pedagogical assessments, additional adjustments, and special support
collaborate with guardians, student health services, and other professionals regarding students' development
actively contribute to developing our school's pedagogical methods and instruction based on changing needs
We are looking for you who:
are trained and certified as a special education teacher
have several documented years of experience working with students in need of special support
feel confident in your professional role and have a strong ability to implement specialized pedagogical knowledge in practice
enjoy working closely with students and are at the same time structured and thorough in the documentation work that follows up on students' interventions and development
Since the operation is new, you need to be flexible, solution-focused, and unpretentious. You enjoy establishing new working methods, taking initiative, and developing the operation together with colleagues.
