Our operations are organized into three areas: Authority, Housing, and Services and Support. The Housing Operations area is responsible for approximately 400 housing units in the form of housing with special support according to the Social Services Act (SoL), supported housing for young people and adults, Housing First, social contracts, assessment housing, and group homes for young people. The Support and Housing Team works with people over 18 years old who have psychosocial functional limitations, substance abuse issues, and/or comorbidities. Through individually tailored support and motivational work, we help people develop toward greater independence and sustainable housing. Our goal is to help people transition from housing to home. Our interventions include, among other things, training apartments, municipal contracts and rental guarantees, which are part of Helsingborg City's housing and social work. We are a dedicated team that works closely together and develops our operations with a focus on quality, learning, and collaboration. Our office facilities are located at Gåsebäck, from where we conduct our daily work. Work Responsibilities As a residential support worker, you have a varied, independent, and meaningful job where the relationship with the client is the focus. You work both independently and together with team colleagues, as well as in close collaboration with internal and external partners. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on individual interventions together with the client. Using a motivational and solution-focused approach, you support the client in reaching their goals and strengthening their ability to manage everyday life independently. The support may include: Creating and maintaining good daily routines Promoting physical and mental health Managing finances and contacts with authorities Progressing toward work, education, or other activities Developing and strengthening relationships with family, friends, and other important people Taking responsibility for their housing according to rental law We meet the client where the need exists, for example at home, at a workplace, at school, or in other environments that are relevant to the intervention. As a residential support worker, you are responsible for a number of clients and serve as the coordinating link in the various parts of the intervention. You develop implementation plans based on approved assignments, follow up on goals, and document the work in the LifeCare journal system. The work also includes administrative tasks that contribute to quality assurance and operations development. Qualifications Educated social pedagogue, treatment assistant, or other equivalent at least two-year post-secondary education in social work. Have experience working with this target group. Preferable knowledge of MI, ESL, and Signs of Safety. Have experience from politically governed operations and understanding of relevant legislation. Hold a category B driver's license, drive a car, and have good digital skills. As a person, you are confident, dedicated, and relationship-building. You work in a structured manner, are responsive and professional in your interactions, and enjoy working both independently and with others.
