About the Position
Personal assistance is a support service under LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and helps make everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace.
The client is a teenager living in Njurunda. In this assignment, in addition to working in the home environment, you will accompany the client to school and leisure activities. There is also a dog in the home, so it is important that you are comfortable with pets and not allergic. As an assistant, you will support the client throughout his day, with everything from personal care to transfers and activities. We are now looking for a new committed assistant for his team!

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, committed, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the client.
We are now looking for you who matches the following:
want to work with a 16-year-old boy in Njurunda
have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
can tolerate fur-bearing animals (there is a dog in the client's home)
have a class B driving license and access to a car
are smoke-free during working hours
For the position, it is advantageous if you:
have experience in personal assistance or similar work
have experience working with feeding tubes
share the client's interests in music and TV
Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary
The current employment arrangement is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment level of approximately 75-80%. Working hours are scheduled for daytime and evening. Day shifts vary between 06:30-15:00 and 06:30-17:00. Evening shifts vary between 14:30-22:00 and 17:00-22:00. Weekend work occurs.
Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement.
Start date September 1 or by agreement.
