Do you want to help shape the future electricity system and contribute to industrial energy transition and the development of the electrical grid? As an energy strategist, you'll play a key role in analyzing developments in the energy sector, identifying strategic choices, and creating conditions for a sustainable and competitive energy system for the future. About the Position In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on how the future electricity system can enable industry's upcoming electricity needs and ensure energy transition. As an energy strategist, you monitor industrial energy transition with a special focus on analyzing and evaluating trends, policy instruments, technological and market developments. You initiate and drive dialogue with relevant stakeholders, regions, and county administrative boards and contribute to developing scenarios for the future electricity system. The role further includes: identifying and analyzing overarching strategic choices and priorities for the coming electricity system based on risk assessments and socioeconomic considerations participating in the development of external publications for the long-term development of the electricity system as project manager or analyst participating in strategically and cross-functionally oriented assignments In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work strategically and long-term alongside several senior colleagues both on your unit and with colleagues in other units at Svenska kraftnät. You'll be part of the new unit System Planning, which currently consists of 10 employees but is expected to reach 17 employees at full capacity. The unit has collective responsibility for long-term planning of the national electricity system and leads, develops, and coordinates work on developing long-term plans and strategies describing how the electricity system should evolve. The unit is also responsible for developing Svenska kraftnät's methods and models for socioeconomic analysis. Since the unit is new and being built up, you'll have the opportunity together with other unit members to develop methods and working practices as well as build responsibility and structure from the ground up.
