A Registered Nurse for Our Pool at SÄBO in Sala Here you'll have the opportunity to work as a registered nurse in a secure municipal operation – while also gaining variety, development, and a truly great team. We're looking for you to join our registered nurse pool at SÄBO in Sala and contribute to good, person-centered care for our elderly residents. You'll become an important part of a public service mission where care, security, and quality are at the center every day. As a pool nurse, you'll step in where you're needed most, primarily supporting a few different residential facilities in central Sala with your expertise, calm demeanor, and curiosity. You enjoy switching between different environments, appreciate teamwork, and like making a real difference. Here you'll meet patients with multiple chronic conditions – several diagnoses/diseases occurring simultaneously that affect each other and require coordination. Cognitive disorders are common and require a structured, person-centered approach. If you have an interest in how cognition – memory, and how the ability to perceive and understand the world – is affected by dementia, that's an advantage. Job Responsibilities As a nurse at a residential care facility, you're responsible for approximately 20 patients in a (PAS) patient care assignment. You plan your day based on given frameworks and resources and adapt to new conditions when the operation requires it. You perform your assessments based on healthcare guidelines and regulations and plan, implement, follow up, and evaluate healthcare interventions for patients with varying medical conditions. Part of your work consists of mentoring based on BPSD issues, supporting behavior management plans, and working systematically and preventatively in the team. You have contact with other healthcare providers, such as primary care, community care teams, outpatient clinics, and inpatient care. Evening and weekend shifts are also part of your assignment: 2 weekday evenings per 8-week cycle and two weekends per 16 weeks. In Sala, two nurses work on-call (evening, weekend & night) and cover the municipality's SÄBO, LSS residential facilities, social psychiatry, and home healthcare patients. Qualifications We're looking for someone who takes responsibility, has a collaborative focus, and contributes to an operation where we support each other – always with the patient's best interests in focus! Someone who prefers to find the right and good solution rather than backing away when obstacles/problems arise. You're a licensed registered nurse and preferably with experience in municipal health and medical care. It's advantageous if you have specialist training in cognitive disorders, diabetes, or other training in elderly care. You work well with others and are used to adapting to situations as they arise. You're engaged and make sound decisions, always with the patient's goals in focus. With your ability to coordinate, plan, organize, prioritize, and mentor, you contribute to safe and efficient care. Beyond this, you have a Class B driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
