Do you have experience in embedded development and want to work closely with both software and hardware? We're now looking for an Embedded Software Developer for a leading company in the defense industry in Växjö. Here you'll work on developing embedded software for next-generation simulator systems and follow the development from design to testing.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
As an Embedded Software Developer, you'll work on designing and implementing embedded software for advanced simulator systems. You'll be involved in several parts of the development chain, from design and programming to testing and integration, working closely with software, application, and test engineers.
The role has a clear connection between software and electronics, where you need to understand how microcontrollers, sensors, and other hardware interact with the software. The technical environment focuses primarily on C/C++ and Python, and you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to developing and improving the team's working methods and development processes.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
Holds a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent.
Has at least one year of experience in embedded development and programming in C/C++ and Python.
Has knowledge and interest in how software interacts with microcontrollers, sensors, and other electronics.
Speaks and writes fluent Swedish and English.
It's not required, but it's a merit if you:
Have experience with assembler, hardware-level debugging, or testing.
Have experience with system integration.
Have experience from simulators, the defense industry, or other safety-critical systems.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:
This is a consulting assignment, which means you'll be employed by Friday.
The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to applicable security clearance regulations at any given time. For positions where the customer has security clearance requirements, this may, where applicable, require certain citizenship.
