Arctic Paper Grycksbo is one of three paper mills that are part of ARCTIC PAPER S.A and has approximately 320 employees. In Grycksbo, coated wood-free paper is produced for quality-conscious customers such as printing companies, book publishers, newspaper publishers, advertising agencies, paper distributors, and packaging companies. The other mills are located in Munkedal, Sweden and in Kostrzyn, Poland. The group as a whole produces both coated and uncoated wood-free paper. The product portfolio includes well-known brands such as Amber, Arctic, G-Print, and Munken. The production capacity of the three mills is approximately 700,000 tons of paper per year. The majority is sold through 14 of the company's own sales offices in Europe. Arctic Paper S.A. has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since October 2009 and on NASDAQ in Stockholm since December 2012.
Responsibilities
As an electrical technician in our team, you will work with preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvements to our machinery. The machinery consists of a steam plant, pulp preparation, paper machines, sheet cutting machines, and associated auxiliary equipment. Your focus will be on steam/raw materials, where our new pellet factory is included, which is newly built with modern equipment. Through good collaboration with other departments, we solve technical problems together as they arise. The position includes on-call availability for the entire facility.
Who are you?
To fit into our team, you need to have at least upper secondary education in electrical engineering and automation, or have equivalent experience that we consider comparable. If you have previously worked as an industrial electrician in the process industry with experience in, for example, frequency converters and switchgear, that is a great plus. We value communication skills, willingness to collaborate, and initiative. Being service-oriented and positive is important to us, and honest communication is key. Since you will collaborate with several different functions, you need good knowledge of Swedish so that communication is clear and safe. We also believe in your potential to grow in the role and build strong relationships with your colleagues and other departments.
