Härnösand Energi & Miljö, HEMAB, is an integral part of Härnösand. We supply heat, water, and electricity, and manage recycling. We produce green electricity through our wind turbines and combined heat and power plant fueled by biomass, and we play an active role in the local community through initiatives in schools and integration. We are now seeking an electrical technician who wants to help secure the electrical grid in Härnösand. This is a varied and independent role where safety, quality, and teamwork are key. As an electrical technician with us, you will work with power distribution, low voltage, and high voltage systems. The role also includes work on street lighting, substations, and fault repair on the electrical grid. You will also participate in maintenance and investment projects. Everything we do is characterized by high safety standards, from planning to execution, and we strive to be an open and welcoming workplace. As part of HEMAB, you will help operate critical infrastructure for society. Here we work, together with our colleagues in district heating, water, recycling, and renewable energy, on operations that are vital to Härnösand's development. About the job You will plan your daily work independently, with support from your supervisor and work team. You can expect a varied workday and a multifaceted role involving direct contact with supervisors/project managers, the municipality, and citizens. As an electrical technician at HEMAB, you will be part of a work team of experienced and knowledgeable colleagues where safety is a top priority. You will work in a team, but solo work is also part of the role, depending on work conditions and electrical safety and workplace regulations. On-call duty may be required. Your tasks will include: Operation, maintenance, and fault repair within the electrical grid and street lighting Operation and maintenance of our customers' facilities such as substations and backup power systems Preventive and corrective maintenance and operational work in the electrical grid 0.4kV-145kV New construction and reconstruction of the electrical grid 0.4kV-12kV Supervision and maintenance of substations and stations 12kV-145kV Documentation, self-inspection, and administration of work About you With your strong commitment and excellent interpersonal skills, you readily take initiative with a positive attitude toward work and colleagues. You are someone who works well in teams while maintaining high quality and service in your work with strong safety awareness. We are looking for someone with electrical technical education at least at upper secondary level, vocational education, or equivalent. We also want you to have at least three years of experience as an electrician or distribution electrician. Basic computer skills, a valid B driving license, and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, are required.
