Do you have experience in electrical design and want to work with advanced technical systems in a complex development environment? We are now seeking an electrical design engineer for a leading company in marine defense industry. Here you will work closely with both design and production on detailed design and development of production documentation for marine platforms.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
As an electrical design engineer, you will become part of an experienced team working on electrical design related to new production of marine platforms. The team is responsible for detailed design and development of electrical-related production documentation and works closely with, among others, systems engineers, mechanical designers, and production.
Much of the basic design already exists, and your work will therefore largely involve further developing and adapting existing solutions. You will work with circuit diagrams, connection lists, component changes, and technical documentation, and ensure that changes are properly documented before proceeding to production. An important part is also understanding how components and solutions interact with other systems and managing changes that arise during projects.
The work is mainly carried out in EPLAN P8 and involves both design work and documentation in a complex technical environment where accuracy and traceability are important aspects.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:
Have relevant post-secondary education in electrical or electrotechnical fields, such as vocational, university, or civil engineering education.
Have at least one year of relevant work experience in electrical design or similar field.
Have experience with EPLAN or similar design tools and understanding of electrical components and electrical systems.
Speak and write fluent Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work.
It is not a requirement, but it is a merit if you:
Have experience with Windchill or other PDM systems.
Have a practical background in electrical work, such as trained electrician or experience from installation or production work.
Have experience with circuit diagrams, connection lists, and technical documentation.
Have experience from defense industry, military operations, or other technically complex and safety-critical environments.
We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and believe that you are a curious and thorough person who appreciates structure and order in your work. You dare to ask when something is unclear and have an interest in understanding how different parts of a complex technical system fit together. Furthermore, you are unpretentious, persistent, and enjoy collaborating with other functions to drive work forward together.
