DUTIES
Nyängskolan is Lessebo Municipality's adapted primary school. The operations are conducted at two units and include students in grades F-9, subject areas grades 1-9, and the high school's individual program. We are a small school where safety, participation, and positive relationships are the foundation for student learning and development. You will meet students with different abilities and needs. Through close collaboration between teachers, student assistants, student support services, and guardians, we create an environment where every student has the opportunity to develop, feel safe, and succeed based on their own capabilities.
As a student assistant, you are an important person for the students throughout their school day and leisure time. You support students in their studies, contribute to safety and inclusion during breaks, and help create a meaningful and developmental experience at the after-school program.
The work is conducted in close collaboration with teachers, student assistants, and other professionals at the school. Together we create a learning environment where every student has the opportunity to develop, experience joy, safety, and community in their daily life.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with experience working as a student assistant or healthcare assistant within LSS or similar services. Experience from adapted primary school is an advantage, as is formal training as a student assistant.
As a person, you are confident, positive, and solution-oriented. You find it easy to build positive relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are flexible and can adapt your working style to students' needs and the organization's conditions. You see opportunities rather than obstacles and want to contribute to every student having a safe, developmental, and meaningful school day.
