Kungshögsskolan is an F–9 school with after-school care and adapted primary school activities. There are approximately 530 students and 100 staff members at the school. Our operations are housed in newly renovated and purpose-built facilities that provide excellent conditions for a safe and pleasant environment. At the school, there are several work teams where activities are planned, implemented, evaluated, and developed in line with curriculum objectives. At our adapted primary school, we are now seeking student assistants who want to be part of a competent, secure, and joyful work team—a team passionate about creating the best conditions for our students. As a student assistant with us, you will, among other things, at school and in after-school care: • Provide support to students in care and instruction based on their individual needs, prerequisites, and strengths. • Work with clarifying pedagogy and contribute to structures and adaptations that create security and inclusion. • Support students in social contexts, during breaks, and in transitions throughout the school day. • Collaborate closely with teachers, student support teams, and other colleagues in a professional and well-functioning work team. • Maintain contact with guardians and relevant professionals in collaboration with the responsible teacher to support the student's development. • Actively contribute to the school's collective work for a learning environment where all students have the opportunity to succeed. The positions include resource shifts at Kungshögsskolan, or other workplaces in the municipality. The positions are filled subject to necessary decisions being made. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you with a complete upper secondary education diploma, such as student assistant training, nursing assistant training, or other education and experience that the employer considers suitable. It is an advantage if you have experience working in adapted primary school, as well as knowledge of neuropsychiatric disabilities and/or alternative and augmentative communication (AAC). As a person, you are communicative, flexible, and have the ability to meet students with different needs in a safe, respectful, and clear manner. You work well in collaboration and contribute to a positive work environment. We place great emphasis on personal suitability for the position and that you have good knowledge of Swedish.
