About the role and your responsibilities
As a student assistant, you will guide and support students in their learning and be available to them both socially and practically throughout the school day. One of the cornerstones is to help students develop independence, and you will build relationships with the student and their environment to increase their sense of security. You will be active within the scope of your assignment and will be an important support in developing learning, either working with individual students or student groups.
Lerbäckskolan is seeking a student assistant for the lower grades. You will work both at the school and at the after-school center.
We are looking for you
We are looking for someone with upper secondary or adult education within the children and leisure program or the care and nursing program. Other education combined with experience that the employer deems relevant for the assignment may be applicable. You need to have experience working in school activities with students with neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF).
To succeed as a student assistant, you need to be responsive to students' needs, which can vary and change depending on their daily form. Based on this, you need to be able to quickly adapt and be flexible in situations that arise around students, and respond in a calm manner. It is important that you have good communication skills with students, colleagues, and guardians.

About the workplace
Lerbäckskolan is an F-9 school with approximately 820 students in central Lund. Lerbäckskolan has a calm and secure environment and good academic results.
