JOB DUTIES As a school assistant, you will be an important part of one of the after-school program's work teams. You will support students throughout the school day, both during instruction, at recess, and in after-school activities. In this role, you work closely with students who need extra support to develop, participate in instruction, and feel safe in their school day. You contribute to creating structure, motivation, and good conditions for learning while being an important adult role model. At Hagaskolan, we work together to develop instruction and learning environments. We have close collaboration with student support services and a culture where we share experiences, learn from each other, and continuously develop our work. Right now, an exciting development initiative is underway focusing on positive behavior support, accessible learning environments, and collaborative learning in partnership with Stockholm University. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with upper secondary education or post-secondary education in a relevant field. Experience working with children and students in need of special support, including neuropsychiatric conditions (NPF), is advantageous. To succeed in this role, we see that you have a genuine interest in children's development and learning. As a person, you are confident, responsible, and have a professional demeanor. You support students in social situations and help them handle conflicts constructively. Furthermore, you are organized and can adapt your work approach to each student's individual needs. Since digital tools are a natural part of instruction, we see that you have good digital competence and feel comfortable using digital technology to support learning, planning, and documentation.
