About the role and your responsibilities As a student assistant, you guide and support students in their learning and are available both socially and practically throughout the school day. One of the cornerstones is to help students achieve independence, and you build relationships with the student and their surroundings to increase their sense of security. You are active within the scope of your assignment and provide important support in developing learning, whether working with individual students or student groups. In your work as a student assistant, you serve as a constructive link between teachers' instructions and the student's own work. You work one-on-one with your student with adaptations that enhance goal achievement. The adaptations are also digital in nature, which is why you need to be updated in the student's digital environment. In the educational environment, you are a communicatively clear leader and relational in your approach. You are salutogenic in your view of students and work salutogenically with students' capacity for improvement. You also collaborate with school leadership, student welfare teams, mentors, and guardians regarding the student's social development. Supervision is included in the position. To succeed in your assignment, you always put the student at the center. Genarps School is seeking two student assistants for the fall semester 2026 with the possibility of extension. We are looking for you We are looking for someone with upper secondary or adult education in children and leisure programs or care and welfare programs. Other education combined with experience that the employer deems relevant for the assignment may be considered. It is a requirement that you have previously worked as a student assistant with students who need special support. In the role of student assistant, you need to be responsive to students' needs and be able to flexibly adapt to changing circumstances. You are a trustworthy person with a calm approach and have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
