Welcome to us! Knivsta Adapted Primary School is a small school located between Valloxskolan and Thunmanskolan. We are close to CIK, Center for Sports and Culture, walking distance to the swimming hall, library, and train station in central Knivsta. We currently have 30 students from grades 1-9, of which 18 are enrolled in after-school care. Our students learn both within subjects and subject areas. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for you who want to work close to students during the school day and after-school care. We are open between 06.30-17.30. The assignment involves both care and learning. The care part includes help with basic daily activities, with dressing and bathroom visits. You are where the students are, supporting them in their social relationships and carrying out activities. During school time you work as a resource in the classroom and are the student's helper. We work daily with tools that promote our students' communication and their opportunities for development, such as alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) and sign support (sign-supported Swedish). QUALIFICATIONS We would like you to have a childcare worker/student assistant or after-school leader education and have experience working in after-school care. You are engaged, proactive, positive, and have good collaboration skills. In your work you are clear and structured. You are a good role model, like structure and order, are full of ideas, and see every interaction with students as an opportunity. You have a low-affect approach. Meritorious are previous experience working in adapted primary school and knowledge of autism and intellectual disability. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Permanent employment.
