Within the Product Development unit, you will work on product development of high-tech and intelligent products for a sustainable future. The products come from all the industries we currently work with at AFRY Connected Products:
Defense
Medical Technology
Industrial Technology
Telecommunications
Consumer Products
Automotive
Your workplace can be either at a customer site or at our office in Solna. You get the opportunity to try a variety of assignments and industries without having to change employers with us!
Qualifications
For this role, we are looking for someone with experience in one or more of these areas:
- Electronic design
- PCB layout
- Embedded design
- ASIC / FPGA design
In addition to an academic education, we see that you have good English language skills, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have good Swedish language skills. We see that you are resident in Sweden.
Depending on which role you have experience in, we see that you have knowledge of one or more of the following:
- Digital design, but also analog design and RF are of interest, and preferably tools such as Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro
- IP design and verification.
- Signal and power integrity, simulations, EMC and preferably tools such as ADS, SIwave, HFSS, Hyperlynx.
- Hardware-near programming.
- Requirements management or systems engineering.
- Wireless communication, high-speed links or similar.
- Troubleshooting, board bring-up, lab work.
Of course, we also place great emphasis on your personal qualities. As a consultant, it is important that you work independently and are used to taking your own initiative. Since many assignments involve collaboration with both customers and colleagues, you should also have good social skills and enjoy working in a team.
