The Properties Department is responsible for strategic facility management and property administration of Piteå Municipality's real estate portfolio. This includes planning and implementing maintenance projects as well as new construction, extensions, and renovations of properties.
Within the Properties operations organization, approximately 60 employees work. The unit is divided into an outer section (including Hortlax, Öjebyn) and an inner section (primarily central town). Professional categories include facility technicians, property technicians - alarms, heating/plumbing, electrical, construction unit with carpenters and painters. The unit ensures that daily operations and maintenance of the property portfolio meet requirements from customers, administrators, and authorities. The objective is to remedy and prevent faults in municipal facilities to ensure efficient, economical, and trouble-free use of the properties.
Job Responsibilities
As an electrician, you will work with maintenance, supervision, preventive measures, as well as electrical installations and troubleshooting/repairs in the municipality's real estate portfolio
Qualifications
You have relevant electrical training and experience working with electrical installations.
It is advantageous if you have experience in the field of control and regulation systems.
The position requires good computer skills as much of the work is IT-based. You need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
As a person, you are flexible and have the ability to plan your work independently. You are positive, a problem solver, and committed to doing good work. You have good collaboration skills and handle our customers in a professional manner with good service.
A Class B driver's license is required for this position.
Other Information
The position is a permanent full-time employment. A trial period may be applied. Start date by agreement.
