Distribution Electrician We are seeking two distribution electricians for Umeå Energi Elnät AB to meet increased staffing needs in fall 2026. The assignment covers work in electricity distribution and operation of electrical installations. This is a consulting assignment with placement in Umeå in Västerbottens County. The assignment starts on October 6, 2026 and runs through December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension up to 12 months, however no longer than December 31, 2027. Start dates later than October 6 can be arranged by agreement with the client. About the Company Umeå Energi Elnät AB is responsible for electricity distribution in the Umeå region and works to ensure a safe, secure, and sustainable electricity supply. The business is an important part of society's infrastructure and contributes to the region's continued development. About the Role As a distribution electrician, you will work with the operation, maintenance, and management of electricity distribution installations. The role involves contributing to safe and reliable electricity supply and supporting operations during a period of increased resource needs. Role and Responsibilities Work within electricity distribution. Operation of electrical installations. Contribute to safe, stable, and efficient electricity delivery. Perform assignments according to applicable safety and work procedures. Cooperate with other resources within the operation. Required Qualifications 1. Experience as a distribution electrician. 2. Expertise in electricity distribution. 3. Experience in the operation of electrical installations. 4. Ability to work according to applicable safety regulations. 5. Swedish language proficiency in speaking and writing. Desired Qualifications 1. Experience from the energy sector. 2. Experience working in electrical grid operations. 3. Good collaboration skills. 4. Experience with similar assignments in electricity distribution.
