Riga City Municipality Agency "Riga Energy Agency" Heat Supply Expert (1 position) Position Purpose: To ensure the implementation of Riga City Municipality's heat supply policy. Responsibilities: Consult residents, apartment building representatives, and business owners on the application of Riga City Council binding regulations regarding heating system installation, replacement, and operation; Provide clarifications on the procedure for obtaining heating permits and technical requirements; Participate in resident information events on environmentally friendly and energy-efficient heat supply; Maintain heat supply economic assessments; Maintain databases and registers; Collaborate in the heat supply management of municipal buildings; Implement heat supply system modernization projects. Requirements for Candidates: Higher education in energy, heat engineering, engineering sciences, or a related field; Desirable understanding of centralized heat supply systems, heating technologies, and building energy management; Ability to analyze technical and economic data; Interest in municipal energy and climate policy issues; Strong skills in working with Excel, GIS data, and information systems; Ability to independently organize work and communicate with residents, businesses, and municipal institutions.
