We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer / Senior Business Controller responsible for the finance function at Jordbro and a key role in developing our production and sales management. This role suits you if you want to work close to operations and use financial analysis to understand what drives results – and what we can do to improve them.
About the role
You are responsible for the finance function for Gudruns AB and Mårtenssons Partihandel AB and lead two employees. You ensure quality in accounting, financial statements, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
An important part of the role is operational controlling. You work closely with management, production, and sales with a focus on efficiency, profitability, and improvements.
The role reports to the Group CFO.
Your responsibilities
You will, among other things:
lead and develop the finance function and its two employees,
responsibility for financial statements, reporting, budget, forecast, and financial monitoring,
track and analyze production costs, productivity, staffing, material variance, waste, and deviations,
develop product costing, actual costing, and relevant KPIs,
analyze sales, volumes, margins, and customer and product profitability,
analyze price, volume, mix, and cost effects and support sales with calculations and decision-making materials,
follow up on investments and efficiency initiatives,
develop reporting, Power BI, and data-driven business management,
drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and working methods.
You are expected not only to report results but to understand what drives them, identify deviations, and work with operations to contribute to concrete improvements. The goal is to create a clear connection between production, sales, and actual profitability.
The role entails overall responsibility for the finance function, but you also need to be flexible and willing to work operationally when needed.
Who are we looking for?
You have a solid financial background and enjoy working close to the business and operations. We would like to see that you have:
academic education in finance or accounting,
several years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer, Senior Business Controller, Business Controller, or equivalent,
experience leading or coordinating a finance function,
good understanding of accounting, financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting,
extensive experience in controlling and profitability analysis,
excellent Excel skills and interest in BI and data-driven management.
Experience from food, FMCG, process, or manufacturing industries is particularly valuable, as is experience with production controlling, product costing and actual costing, customer and product profitability, Power BI, and Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central.
