About the Position
Finnfoam is in an exciting development phase and is now looking for a Finance Manager who wants to take full responsibility for finances in the Swedish operations. You'll become a key person in the management group and work closely with the CEO on everything from monitoring and analysis to investments and strategic decisions.
This role is perfect for you if you have a good understanding of accounting and financial processes, but are primarily motivated by analysis, identifying improvement opportunities, and translating numbers into business decisions.
A central part of your assignment will be to gradually build and establish the internal finance function, which today is handled by an external partner. This gives you a unique opportunity to influence structure, processes, and working methods from the ground up and create the right conditions for future growth.
Work location is flexible. The largest production unit and most of the office staff are located in Kristinehamn, where you are expected to be on-site approximately one day per week. If you live in, for example, the Gothenburg region, Alingsås, Trollhättan, or Gothenburg, you have the option to work from home or one of Finnfoam's offices, which creates great flexibility in your daily work while maintaining close connection to the business.
Responsibilities
• Ensure that accounting, monthly and annual accounts, and annual reports are correct and in accordance with applicable accounting rules
• Responsible for financial management, reporting, and analysis for the Swedish companies
• Be a proactive support to the CEO and management group on business and strategic matters
• Lead budget, forecast, and follow-up work
• Prepare investment analyses, profitability analyses and decision-making materials, and support in acquisitions
• Build up and develop the internal finance function and continue to digitalize and streamline financial processes
• Contribute to development and optimization of financial processes
Qualifications
We're looking for someone with an academic education in finance and several years of experience in roles such as business controlling and audit. You have a good understanding of accounting and financial reporting, but are primarily driven by analysis, follow-up, and business support.
You have experience working with budgets, forecasts, and follow-up. If you have experience with investments and corporate acquisitions, that's a merit.
Maybe you're currently working as a Business Controller or Finance Manager and are ready to take the next step in your career. Prior experience with personnel responsibility is a merit but not a requirement.
