Would you like to take on broad financial responsibility in a growing company where analysis, business understanding, and development are high on the agenda? At Finnfoam, you'll have the opportunity to build and develop the finance function in an expanding organization where investments, expansion, and future plans are key priorities.
About the Role
Finnfoam is in an exciting phase of development and is now seeking a Finance Manager who wants to take on overall responsibility for finances in the Swedish operations. You'll be a key person in the management team and work closely with the CEO on everything from monitoring and analysis to investments and strategic decisions.
This role suits you if you have a good understanding of accounting and financial processes, but are especially motivated by analysis, identifying improvement opportunities, and translating numbers into business decisions.
A central part of the assignment will be to gradually build and establish the internal finance function, which is currently handled by an external partner. This gives you a unique opportunity to influence structure, processes, and working methods from the ground up and create the right conditions for future growth.
Work location is flexible. The largest production facility and most salaried employees are based in Kristinehamn, where you're expected to be on-site approximately one day per week. If you live in, for example, the Gothenburg region, Alingsås, Trollhättan, or Göteborg, you have the opportunity to work from home or one of Finnfoam's offices, which creates great flexibility in your daily work while maintaining close connection to the business.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure that accounting, monthly and annual statements, and annual reports are accurate and in accordance with applicable accounting rules
• Manage financial control, reporting, and analysis for the Swedish companies
• Provide proactive support to the CEO and management team on business and strategic matters
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and follow-up work
• Develop investment calculations, profitability analyses, and decision-making materials, and support acquisitions
• Build and develop the internal finance function and continue to digitalize and streamline finance processes
• Contribute to the development and streamlining of finance processes
Desired Background
We're looking for you with an academic degree in finance/economics and several years of experience in roles such as business controlling and audit. You have a good understanding of accounting and financial reporting, but are primarily driven by analysis, follow-up, and business support.
You have experience working with budgets, forecasts, and follow-up. If you have experience with investments and company acquisitions, that's a plus.
Perhaps you currently work as a Business Controller or Finance Manager and are ready to take the next step in your career. Previous experience with personnel responsibility is a plus but not required.
As a person, you're curious, driven, and self-directed. You dare to ask questions, challenge, and are happy to bring new perspectives. At the same time, you build trust through an action-oriented and solution-focused approach.
What We Offer
This is an opportunity for you to take the next step in your career and combine a strategic perspective with operational responsibility. You'll work close to the business, be an important part of the management team, and contribute to the development of an expansive company with strong confidence in the future. For the right person, there are great opportunities to grow with the business and shape the finance function for years to come.
