Do you want to take on comprehensive financial responsibility in a growing company where analysis, business acumen, and development are high priorities? At Finnfoam, you'll have the opportunity to build and develop the finance function in a growing organization where investments, expansion, and future plans are at the forefront.
About the Position
Finnfoam is in an exciting development phase and is now seeking a Finance Director who wants to take full responsibility for finance in the Swedish operations. You'll be a key person in the management team, working closely with the CEO on everything from monitoring and analysis to investments and strategic decisions.
This role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of accounting and financial processes, but who is primarily motivated by analysis, identifying improvement opportunities, and translating numbers into business decisions.
A central part of the assignment will be to gradually build up and establish the internal finance function, which is currently managed by an external partner. This gives you a unique opportunity to influence structure, processes, and working methods from the ground up and create the right conditions for future growth.
Work location is flexible. The largest production facility and most of the office staff are located in Kristinehamn, where you're expected to be on-site approximately one day per week. If you live in the Gothenburg region, Alingsås, Trollhättan, or Gothenburg, you have the option to work from home or from one of Finnfoam's offices, which creates great flexibility in your daily routine while maintaining close contact with the business.
Responsibilities
• Ensure that accounting, monthly and annual accounts, and annual reports are accurate and in accordance with applicable accounting rules
• Manage financial control, reporting, and analysis for the Swedish companies
• Provide proactive support to the CEO and management team on business and strategic matters
• Lead budget, forecast, and monitoring work
• Develop investment calculations, profitability analyses, and decision-making documents, and support acquisitions
• Build up and develop the internal finance function and continue to digitalize and streamline financial processes
• Contribute to the development and streamlining of financial processes
Suitable Background
We're looking for someone with an academic background in finance and several years of experience in roles such as business controlling and audit. You have a solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting, but are primarily driven by analysis, monitoring, and business support.
You're experienced in working with budgets, forecasts, and monitoring. Experience with investments and acquisitions is a plus.
Perhaps you currently work as a Business Controller or Finance Manager and are ready to take the next step in your career. Previous experience with personnel responsibility is desirable but not required.
As a person, you're curious, driven, and self-reliant. You're not afraid to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and bring fresh perspectives. At the same time, you build trust through an action-oriented and solution-focused approach.
What We Offer
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to take the next step in their career and combine a strategic perspective with operational responsibility. You'll work close to the business, be an important part of the management team, and contribute to the development of an expanding company with strong future prospects. For the right person, there are great opportunities to grow with the business and shape the finance function for many years to come.
