Chief Financial Officer for NELAB Invest in Piteå – a central role in a profitable and expanding group Would you like to take comprehensive responsibility for finances in a well-managed and profitable group with strong roots in Piteå? NELAB Invest is seeking a confident and operationally engaged Chief Financial Officer who will lead the finance function and provide qualified support to the group's companies, managing directors, and boards. About the role The current Chief Financial Officer plans to retire and will remain during an extended transition period. This creates excellent conditions for structured onboarding and handover. As Chief Financial Officer, you will lead a team of three employees at the group's headquarters in Piteå. You are responsible for the finance function as well as closing the books for 4 wholly owned subsidiaries and 4 jointly owned companies within the group. The role encompasses both ongoing financial management and reporting as well as qualified support to the group's various companies. Your main areas of responsibility are to: · Lead and develop the finance function and its employees. · Independently prepare and close monthly and annual financial statements. · Manage financial reporting, monitoring, and analysis. · Ensure high quality, structure, and control in accounting. · Handle progressive revenue recognition in large and long-term projects. · Prepare decision-making materials and provide active support to the companies' managing directors. · Present financial results and reports to the companies' boards. · Contribute to continued development of financial processes, routines, and methods. Support on closing and accounting matters is available from the group's audit firm. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone with solid experience in qualified accounting work who can independently take responsibility for financial statements, reporting, and financial monitoring. Experience with progressive revenue recognition is a central requirement for the role, as several of the group's companies conduct large and long-term projects. You are naturally curious and entrepreneurial and are motivated by contributing to the group's continued development. Since NELAB Invest continuously evaluates new acquisitions and business opportunities, you need to be able to combine financial rigor and structure with a forward-thinking and business-oriented perspective. You have likely worked as a Chief Financial Officer, accounting manager, senior controller, or in a similar qualified accounting position. We prefer that you have an academic degree in accounting or equivalent experience. To succeed in this role, you need to be: · Structured, thorough, and confident in accounting matters. · Analytical and skilled at translating financial information into clear decision-making materials. · Communicative and comfortable presenting accounting matters to the MD and board. · Independent, responsible, and solution-oriented. · An engaged and present leader who develops both employees and working methods. · Unpretentious and interested in understanding the business behind the numbers. · Curious as the group is constantly evolving NELAB Invest offers You will receive a central and significant role in a stable, profitable, and successful group.
