About the Assignment
As a finance assistant, you'll become part of the agency's accounting team and work with varied finance administration tasks. An important part of the assignment is working with accounts receivable, record management, and controlling, searching for and compiling information from customer registers.
You'll also have contact with customers via phone and email to verify and complete information. Depending on the organization's needs, the assignment may also include work with ongoing accounting and bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, coding, invoice management, supplier and customer accounts receivable, and reconciliation of account balances.
The role suits you if you enjoy administrative tasks where attention to detail and organization are important, but who also appreciates having many points of contact and collaborating with others.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent education
At least one year of work experience as a finance assistant
Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
Very strong Excel skills
Experience with accounting systems, such as Unit4 ERP, Raindance, or Visma
Experience handling large amounts of data
Very strong ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing
Ability to work on-site in Uppsala for the entire assignment

Experience setting up and maintaining customers or suppliers in accounts receivable
Experience in customer service or other service roles with high degree of customer or supplier contact
Experience working with large data sets in Excel
Experience from a government agency or other public sector organization
