Pingst Jönköping is seeking a Finance Manager Are you a driven finance professional who wants to combine financial responsibility with a meaningful assignment? We are now looking for a Finance Manager who wants to take a central role in leading and developing the congregation's financial operations. As Finance Manager, you have overall responsibility for the congregation's finances and ensure that the finance function maintains high quality and good structure. You work both strategically and operatively and serve as support to the board, staff, and operations on financial matters. The role requires a good understanding of the organization's financial conditions. In this position, you will: Manage budget, forecasts, reporting, and reconciliations. Handle ongoing accounting. Manage payroll administration. Support the congregation's various operations with financial matters. Requirements and qualifications: We believe you are responsible and enjoy driving and developing the congregation's financial work. You are communicative and can explain finance clearly to employees without financial backgrounds. You can create clear procedures while remaining flexible when operational needs change. You work in a structured, thorough, and independent manner but also enjoy collaborating with colleagues and volunteers. You have the ability to see the big picture and understand what lies behind the numbers. You have the financial knowledge to manage a broad range of financial work. We would like to see that you have: At least 5 years of work experience in this field. Good knowledge of Swedish and English. Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, with emphasis on Excel. Experience with Fortnox or equivalent financial management system. As an employee with us, we also expect you to support the congregation's core values. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. As Finance Manager, you are part of the administrative team. You participate in the congregation's finance council with volunteers who have solid financial experience. The position is located on weekdays, Monday through Friday. Working hours are adjusted according to employment level and in consultation with your direct supervisor. Some evening and weekend work may occur to a limited extent. We are an independent local congregation and at the same time part of the Swedish Pentecostal movement. We have broad operations with several different areas, such as children's and youth activities, significant diaconal work, singing and music life, and much more. The church facilities are rented out for various conferences and events, and we celebrate worship every Sunday. We are a staff of approximately 25 people with a large and engaged volunteer organization.
