Exit Tapas & Bar is a modern and social tapas bar with a focus on great food, cocktails, wine and beer. We offer our guests a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, where excellent service, quality and great ambiance are at the center. Now we are looking for an experienced evening chef who wants to become part of our team and contribute to high-quality dining experiences. We are looking for you who - Have previous experience as a chef – this is a requirement - Have experience with à la carte and tapas - Are accustomed to evening service and working at a fast pace - Can work independently and take responsibility for the kitchen during service - Are thorough, stress-resistant and solution-oriented - Have a good sense of flavors, ingredients and presentation - Have experience with ordering ingredients and inventory management - Have an understanding of purchasing, ingredient costs and kitchen economics - Have good knowledge of hygiene and food safety - Enjoy collaborating with both kitchen and service staff Responsibilities - Prepare and present dishes according to the restaurant's menu - Work with à la carte and tapas - Prepare ingredients before service - Ensure consistent and high quality of food - Oversee the kitchen's mise en place and preparations - Order ingredients and follow up on deliveries - Keep control of inventory and reduce food waste - Work cost-consciously and contribute to good kitchen and ingredient economics - Maintain order and structure in the kitchen - Be responsible for hygiene and food handling - Collaborate with service staff and the rest of the team What we offer With us you get to work in a pleasant and social atmosphere together with a committed team.
