Academic Primary Care Center (APC) has overarching research, education, and development responsibility for primary care in Region Stockholm. APC and three university health centers—Jakobsberg, Gustavsberg, and Liljeholmen—form primary care's university medical service unit (USV) and are an important part of the new organization for knowledge governance nationally and regionally. Operations are built on a network organization where the majority of our staff have their primary employment in clinical primary care. Liljeholmen University Health Center has special responsibility for continuing education and development in cardiovascular prevention including diabetes, critical ischemia and foot ulcers, as well as airway diseases and allergy. We conduct research in several areas. Description In our assignments regarding continuing education and development within various knowledge areas, we offer training through courses and workplace visits in primary care within different prioritized knowledge areas. We support operations in quality improvement work, in promoting equitable and evidence-based care through knowledge governance, and in environmental monitoring of the field. The work consists largely of educational events where various professions in primary care participate. You work closely with medical education coordinators, pharmacy education coordinators, and other colleagues in continuing education assignments. We also strive to develop university credit-bearing commissioned education in collaboration with Karolinska Institutet for primary care professions. We are now seeking a nurse/district nurse for our Lung and Allergy Diseases assignment. You should have solid experience in the field, preferably scientific expertise and preferably experience with, or appreciation for, teaching. Qualifications Educated nurse or district nurse Clinical experience in asthma and COPD in primary care At least 15 credits in the subject area Knowledge of current guidelines, recommendations, and care pathways Good computer skills and strong knowledge of the Office package (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English Meritorious Scientific expertise such as doctoral studies, dissertation, and master's degree Experience working with quality improvement and quality monitoring Pedagogical experience and/or education Personal Qualities You need to be a responsible, flexible, driven, and creative person who is accustomed to working independently and in teams. The work also requires strong social competence with pedagogical skills and a humble attitude.
