Our Offer Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, Health Center Finspång, Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and on-call centers for evenings and weekends, and a General Medicine Training Center. Health Center Cityhälsan Söder is conveniently located in the Hageby district with good connections to the rest of Norrköping and currently has approximately 16,000 registered patients. Job Description As a BVC nurse you work with our mission in child healthcare such as parental support, telephone advice, clinic visits, group activities, and home visits. BVC is also part of the family center which is located geographically near the BVC premises. Together with educators in the open preschool activities and social services from the municipality, we have close collaboration for children and families with health promotion, prevention, and support purposes. To thrive in the role we believe it is important that you both appreciate working independently and collaborating with colleagues. The work consists of independently setting up your clinic according to the child healthcare program, while you and your colleagues support each other and work together to develop the operation forward. You will also work in a team with experienced doctors at BVC and collaborate with other professions from other operations at the health center and our healthcare neighbors in the building. Work Team We are approximately 65 employees at the health center who get along well together in an open work climate. At BVC you work as closest colleague with five other nurses who are experienced in their roles. We work together with collaboration and respect for each other's competence; our goal is a work climate where everyone has varied work tasks and can develop in their professional role. More information about what it's like to work with us can be found here. About You You are a district nurse or pediatric nurse, preferably with experience in primary care/BVC. You master Swedish language in speech and writing, equivalent to C1 level. Experience with the journal system Cosmic is meritorious. Driving license B is a requirement. If you have previous experience with BVC you are meritorious. Language skills in different languages we see as an asset for the children in our activities and their parents. You have good collaboration skills and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to make independent decisions based on your profession. You have good communication skills towards patients, colleagues, and other operations. We are looking for someone who is engaged and interested in advancing health promotion work together with colleagues and other professions for the benefit of the children.
