In this role, you will, among other things: Monitor and interpret laws, regulations, rules, and regulatory requirements related to the environment and ensure compliance and that new/changes are implemented Report and follow up on environmental matters with authorities, management, and other stakeholders Take responsibility for designing and further developing reporting models that meet the company's reporting needs Review laws and regulations regarding sustainability requirements and ensure that they are implemented and/or complied with Take responsibility for developing and submitting required environmental and chemical reports to authorities Coordinate, investigate, and/or follow up on matters regarding deviations, accidents, incidents, and risk observations within the environmental area Support to operations Support managers and facility heads so that the company has an appropriate environmental organization Support the SAR work (Safety Analysis Report) for each facility regarding environmental and chemical matters Take responsibility for providing regular information and training in environmental and chemical matters to the organization Define competency requirements within the environmental area Who do we seek? We are looking for someone who is thorough, structured, and passionate about environmental and sustainability issues. To succeed in this role, we believe you: Have relevant education in environmental science or equivalent experience Have experience with environmental issues, environmental legislation, and/or chemical handling Are structured and have a good ability to monitor and interpret regulations Take initiative and work methodically Have good communication skills and are comfortable representing the company to authorities and other stakeholders Share our values regarding safety, quality, and sustainable development If you have previous experience in leadership, we see that as meritorious.
