Your Assignment with Us
Your role as Operations Technician is part of the Housing Service department, Uppsalahem's internal specialist unit, which serves tenants when issues arise and handles operational matters and maintenance. As an Operations Technician at Uppsalahem, you have expert knowledge of the company's facilities and work proactively on maintaining heating and ventilation systems. Sustainability is an important priority at Uppsalahem, and we invest heavily in new environmental and energy technology. For example, we have one of the Nordic region's largest solar panel facades for multi-family residential buildings.
Your Main Responsibilities:
Investigate deviations in energy and water consumption
Handle troubleshooting and repairs when alarms are triggered
Maintenance and optimization of heating and ventilation installations
Responsible for identifying energy and water-saving measures in one of Uppsalahem's districts
Perform service and monitor the operation of our installations
Participate in and be able to lead smaller projects
Responsible for inspections and technical work in our properties
Who Are You?
We're looking for someone with:
A genuine interest in energy issues
Post-secondary education in operations technology from a technical college or university
Several years of professional experience in operations technology and building technical systems
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
B-class driver's license
The role suits you if you are structured, responsible, and have a problem-solving approach to work. You thrive working independently but enjoy collaborating with colleagues when needed. Since the role involves contact with our tenants, we also see that you're excellent at communicating, empathetic, and show great commitment to your work.

Housing Service
