The Role
As a facilities technician at KLP, you have significant personal responsibility for the daily operations of your assigned properties. You are responsible for ensuring that the properties function efficiently and maintain a high technical standard, from supervision and maintenance to troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
The role is broad and independent, and you are expected to take your own initiative, prioritize, and drive matters from identified need to completed action. You work closely with tenants, contractors, and colleagues and are an important representative for KLP in the properties.
You will also be involved in developing the business within areas such as operations optimization, energy savings, sustainability, and digitalization.
Your Tasks
Have comprehensive responsibility for the daily operations of your assigned properties
Manage the properties' technical supply systems and installations
Ensure supervision, maintenance, and preventive upkeep
Independently troubleshoot and handle operational disruptions and fault reports
Work actively with operations optimization and energy savings
Maintain close and proactive dialogue with tenants
Follow up and direct contractor work
Drive and monitor maintenance and improvement measures
Actively contribute to KLP's sustainability and quality efforts
Participate in systematic fire safety work
Who Are You?
To succeed in this role, we'd like you to have:
More than 5 years of work experience as a facilities technician
Good technical understanding and experience with technical installations in larger properties
Experience working independently with operations, maintenance, and contractors
Good Swedish in speech and writing
Good computer skills and experience with digital operations and property management systems
We also see it as meritorious if you have experience working with different types of control systems and/or if you have electrical qualifications.
As a person, you are self-directed, responsible, and solution-oriented. You have a professional and service-oriented approach and enjoy maintaining close dialogue with tenants. As a Facilities Technician, you are an important representative for KLP and always act with the tenant's and KLP's best interests in mind.
