About the Unit The Management Office is responsible for cross-organizational coordination and for planning, leading, and monitoring operations against set goals. Within the Management Office is the IT group, which currently consists of five employees (hired staff and consultants). We are now seeking two operations technicians for the group. About the Role In this role, you will work in a hybrid IT environment with both on-premises server solutions and cloud services. You will combine work with infrastructure with qualified support at first, second, and third line levels. You will help ensure a stable, secure, and well-functioning IT environment for the agency's employees who work in Windows 11, use Microsoft 365, and have iPhone as their standard phone. Examples of Work Tasks - Operate, maintain, patch, and troubleshoot Windows server environments. - Work in a hybrid environment with servers, networks, and cloud services (Microsoft 365). - Manage virtualization, storage, and backup. - Ensure IT security in infrastructure and client environments. - Work with network security (firewalls, VPN, segmentation). - Formulate and communicate IT security requirements. - Provide support and user assistance in client environments (Windows 11, peripherals, and conference equipment). You will work closely with your colleagues in a skilled and engaged team where knowledge sharing and collaboration are a natural part of everyday work. Your Qualifications and Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who has - Relevant higher education in IT or equivalent several years of work experience that the employer considers equivalent. - At least three years of current experience working with IT operations and/or IT security. - Experience working in Windows server environments (installation, operations, troubleshooting, and patching). - Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows 11. - Experience working in IT environments with high security requirements. - Knowledge of virtualization, storage, and backup technologies. - Experience with network security. - Very good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. It is meritorious if you have - Experience working with video and conference equipment. - Experience training users in technical areas and creating user support materials, such as quick reference guides. - Knowledge of SQL. - Experience working according to the tiering model. About the Employment Both positions are permanent with a six-month probationary period.
