Landside Operations Technician Seasonal Position

Do you have a service mindset and interest in vehicles and machinery? We are now looking for an operations technician for a seasonal position who wants to be part of ensuring the service level and atmosphere required to operate a world-class airport! You will be part of the Landside Field Operations department, which performs the day-to-day operational services to keep operations running smoothly for Swedavia's customers. This means travelers, staff and tenants, where the traveler is our primary customer. The employment runs from late October to mid-April. What does the role involve? Landside Field Operations is responsible for cleaning, snow removal and park/garden maintenance of the airport's outdoor areas outside the security zone. The unit's work is an important part of how the airport is perceived since the outdoor areas are the first thing customers see when arriving at the airport. The work involves keeping our terminals and surroundings clean and tidy. Snow removal and de-icing when weather requires, but also managing maintenance, supervision and corrective maintenance of roads, walkways, sidewalks and parking areas. The work may also include park and garden maintenance. The work involves shift work which includes days, nights and weekends. Since we work shifts around the clock, you must be able to get to the airport even when public transport is not available. Who are you? We are looking for someone who: Holds a B-class driving license Has very good knowledge and Swedish in speech and writing, as well as basic English It is advantageous if you: Have knowledge or previous professional experience in snow removal, maintenance work, and/or park work C-class license Experience with wheel loaders or machinery What do we offer you?
