Would you like an important role where you contribute to ensuring stable and reliable communication in a vital public service? LFV is now seeking a service-oriented operations technician who wants to work with operations, maintenance, and installation of TETRA-related equipment in an environment where quality and safety are in focus. You will work with a new assignment in critical communications that includes troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance of the national radio communication system Rakel. At LFV, you and your colleagues will ensure reliable and secure communication for vital public functions within areas such as public order, security, health, and total defense. About the Position As an operations technician at LFV, you work with operations, maintenance, and further development of equipment connected to TETRA networks. It is a varied role with both practical and technical elements where your contribution is crucial for communication to function around the clock. The role offers broad competence development and excellent opportunities to grow in both technical expertise and responsibility. The work includes field assignments where you may need to quickly travel to a site during outages or scheduled tasks. You work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues, and maintain frequent contact with customers and technical teams. Your main duties include • Troubleshoot, maintain, and install technical equipment, both independently and as part of a team. • Complex fault analysis and solving various levels of network problems to ensure high system availability. • Ensure function and availability of radio, transmission, and IT equipment. • Performance improvements and system upgrades including both hardware and software. • Create documentation and technical reports. You work in a structured and communicative manner, with focus on documentation, accuracy, and a high level of safety awareness. We see that you have: • Experience with telecom systems, focused on radio/mobile networks and power supply. • Experience with radio technology, transmission, and IT infrastructure or equivalent. • Ability to work at heights, mast work for radio links. • Experience with technical installation work. • Experience with server operations and IP networks. • Independent field work with requirements for quality and documentation. • Manual Category B driving license. • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. • Three-year technical upper secondary education or equivalent. Meritorious for this position are: • Experience working in a TETRA environment. • Experience with radio technical measurements on antenna systems and radio links. • Experience working with critical infrastructure. • Experience with firewalls and routing or equivalent. • Experience working in project form or technical improvement teams. • Knowledge of virtualization (e.g. VMware), server and storage solutions. Other Information This is a permanent position with workplace location in Bromma. On-call duty is included and overnight stays may occur in this role. Before employment, LFV conducts a security vetting that includes register checks, security interviews, and drug testing. This position requires Swedish citizenship.
