About the Role
Do you work in operations or maintenance and are interested in trying something new? With us, you will be an important part of a competent and helpful team where we value different experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds. Here you will daily encounter technical challenges, contribute to Gotland's energy supply, and develop both professionally and personally.
As an operations technician, you will have the opportunity to work in a varied role where you are responsible for both operations and maintenance of our district heating production facilities. You will work to keep the facilities in stable and safe operation, while also performing preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure long-term function and reliability.
In your daily work, you will:
Operate and maintain our production facilities.
Perform repairs, troubleshooting, and practical work on mechanical tasks.
Handle administrative tasks such as reporting and inventory.
You will be part of a work team of 5 people, which is part of a larger team of 20 employees. Here there is strong team spirit and broad expertise to draw from, and we help each other succeed in our daily work. Whether you have extensive experience or want to grow further in this field, there are excellent opportunities to learn and develop together with experienced colleagues. The position is a daytime role with on-call availability.
Job Requirements
As an operations technician, we would like you to have the following competencies and experience:
Relevant education in the field, for example technician at KY/YH or upper secondary school level.
Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
You master the Office package and have good experience reading instructions.
Class B driver's license.
Merits
Previous operations experience from the process industry or experience from heat engineering work
Experience in electrical work is advantageous
You are a problem solver with good cooperation skills, which is important since the work takes place close to your colleagues in the team and tasks are often solved together. At the same time, you have the ability to work independently and take responsibility for driving your work forward. Working safely is a given for you.
