About the Role
You'll become part of a team of eight people working in a modern and technical environment. Together, you're responsible for operating our facilities safely and optimally.
The work includes, among other things:
• monitoring and optimizing the operation of our facilities
• conducting rounds
• identifying and addressing deviations and problems
• contributing to audit and development projects
Our boilers are fired with wood chips, pellets, and oil. We also work with hydropower and cooling systems and consist of a mix of modern and older technology—an exciting challenge.
The position is based on daytime hours with on-call duty, where part of the work may involve working alone. Safety, environment, delivery, and economy are central to everything we do.
Due to on-call duty, you need to live in Jönköping or in the surrounding area.
Your Main Responsibilities
We're looking for someone with training as an operations technician or other relevant education in this field.
You also need to check off some of the points below, but technical curiosity and a willingness to learn are the most important!
• Experience with operations in smaller organizations, since you contribute to solving problems both independently and together with others
• Experience with maintenance work
• Knowledge of solid fuel facilities
• Training in safety or cooling systems
• Experience with on-call duty
• Digital skills, since the development toward using digital tools in daily work is advancing rapidly
• A boiler operator certificate is also a merit.
