Here you'll have a varied role where you work with operations, maintenance, and problem-solving at our facility – together with colleagues who support each other and have a strong focus on safety and service.
About your new team
You'll become part of an experienced team that works across the entire Gimo site. Our mission is to ensure safe and stable management of water treatment, cutting fluids, and hazardous waste. The team is characterized by helpfulness, practical problem-solving, and a strong service focus – here we work closely together and help each other in our daily work.
About the job
In this role, you'll move around the industrial area daily, working with operations and maintenance of the facility's technical systems. You perform planned maintenance work, troubleshoot and resolve operational disruptions, and work practically with things like pumps, filters, and chemicals. The work also includes truck driving and handling of hazardous waste.
Safety is a central part of the work, especially when cleaning tanks, working in confined spaces, and work tasks that require fall protection. You always follow our routines and processes for environment, health, and safety.
You contribute to energy efficiency and operations optimization by analyzing existing technology and proposing solutions that improve our facilities and systems over time. The job also includes handling work orders and documentation in our operations systems.
Work takes place on-site during daytime, and the position includes on-call duty every fifth week.
About you
We're looking for someone with a high school diploma, preferably with a technical focus, or equivalent knowledge from work experience. You are self-driven, solution-oriented, and comfortable taking responsibility. At the same time, you enjoy collaborating with others, sharing your knowledge, and contributing to a positive work environment.
You have computer skills and feel comfortable with administrative tasks related to operations and maintenance. Knowledge of water treatment and waste management is a merit. A B-class driver's license and proficiency in Swedish and English are required. You also need to be comfortable working in an environment where cobalt is present.
