Are you a driven leader with the ability to make operations function effectively and safely? As a substitute Operations Manager for packaging collection, you will have a key role in coordinating, developing, and leading daily operations with a focus on service, quality, and sustainability.
About the role:
As operations manager, you lead, allocate, and coordinate daily work within the operation. You have direct personnel responsibility and ensure that the operation is conducted in accordance with goals, legal requirements, and internal procedures. The role involves close collaboration with the operations manager, to whom you also report, and other functions, where you serve as an important link between strategic decisions and daily work.
Key areas of responsibility:
Allocate work tasks, plan staffing, and ensure efficient resource utilization
Lead and motivate personnel in the operation, and ensure a safe, inclusive, and secure work environment.
Personnel responsibility including monitoring sick leave, employee meetings, and salary setting
Follow up on operations based on budget, goals, and results
Create good customer and business relationships
Close collaboration with the corresponding operations manager, as well as other operations managers and support functions
Contribute to improvement and development work in workplace environment, safety, quality, and efficiency

For the role, you need to have:
High school education as a foundation, preferably supplemented with leadership training or vocational education in environment and logistics.
Knowledge of workplace environment work and basic environmental requirements
Experience with operational leadership, preferably in waste, logistics, or production-like operations.
Experience leading personnel in daily operations and planning staffing.
Ability to prioritize and maintain order in a dynamic environment.
Class B driver's license
