ISS Facility Services has had a long-standing partnership with a company in the automotive industry with multiple sites throughout Sweden. To the Tuve site, we are now seeking an engaged and business-driven Building Operations Manager with the ability to develop operations. About the Role As Building Operations Manager for our customer, you have an important function in service delivery. With profit responsibility, you will lead both small and large projects together with your colleagues and you are also involved operatively. Your task is to ensure that we deliver services according to customer expectations and the agreed contract. You lead operations in your area toward set goals in close collaboration with the customer, colleagues, and your manager. Since we also use subcontractors, you have responsibility for supervision and coordination of these. Examples of main duties and areas of responsibility included in your role: - Responsibility for ensuring that operations are optimally dimensioned and staffed. - Ensure that work is conducted safely and in compliance with laws and other agreements as well as ISS policies and values. - Continuous customer contact focused on meeting customer expectations. - Responsible for operational matters and develop these in consultation with your manager and other colleagues in the operations area. - Quote work and provide estimates to customers. - Project management. - Responsible for ensuring work is conducted in accordance with the agreed contract. - Responsible for and ensure development of the assignment so that the contract is operated as efficiently as possible at all times. - Procurement of materials, clothing, and tools. - Budget and forecasting work. - Financial responsibility for the unit and its subcontractors. - Work operatively as a Carpenter. In this role, you have freedom with responsibility and will independently conduct dialogues with involved parties. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone with work experience in the construction industry. You bring practical skills as a Carpenter as well as experience in economics, work supervision, and project management. Since coordination occurs both internally and with the customer and subcontractors, we see that you have good communication skills and experience collaborating with different types of stakeholders. Planning and communication occur largely via email, telephone, and case management systems, which means you need to have good IT and systems skills as well as good administrative ability for this role. Electrical knowledge, training in Energy Optimization and Control Technology, BAS P/U, ESA/EvA, and Construction Law are advantageous. A B-driving license is required. You are a responsible, unpretentious, and service-oriented person who enjoys working toward the goal of "Satisfied Customer" in order to maintain good and long-term business relationships. You are not afraid to take your own initiative and have the ability to independently drive projects and improvement efforts. You have natural leadership qualities, good social skills, a talent for delivering world-class service, and you are a good ambassador for ISS Facility Services.
