Marks Municipality is now seeking an engaged and development-oriented operations engineer who wants to contribute to safe, sustainable, and efficient operation of our water and wastewater facilities. With us, you'll have a key role in developing and quality-assuring operations while participating in exciting investment and development projects. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Your main tasks are to: Plan, order, and follow up long-term maintenance of water and wastewater facilities. Analyze facility function and results and initiate improvement measures. Develop and quality-assure procedures, safety work, and quality documentation. Participate in budget work, procurements, and investments. Contribute to both larger and smaller water and wastewater projects and lead your own projects. Prepare operating instructions, risk analyses, statistics, calculations, and other governing documents. Work with implementing new technology and developing digital working methods. Collaborate closely with operations staff, project technicians, process engineers, and project managers. Contribute during commissioning of new facility components and project handovers to the operations organization. You work according to a clear process. You organize and plan your work well, complete what you start, and meet deadlines. You handle stress constructively and maintain good humor under pressure and setbacks. You are confident in uncertain situations and stand up for your opinions. You have the courage to speak up and can distinguish between the issue and the person. You adapt and find win-win solutions through a humble focus on the common goal. You solve problems without losing sight of long-term strategies. You see logic and connections in a complex environment. QUALIFICATIONS Driver's License B: Minimum requirement of driver's license B Municipal Water and Wastewater Work: Must have extensive experience from municipal water and wastewater work Language: You express yourself very well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Technical Experience: Water and wastewater investigations, modeling, and capacity calculations. Technical Experience: SCADA systems and monitoring systems for water and wastewater facilities Personal Qualities: To succeed in this role, we see that you are Confident and stable with the ability to make decisions and stand by your assessments. Structured and plan your work in an efficient manner. Collaboration-oriented and enjoy working together with others toward common goals.
