We are now recruiting for our client Norrtälje Vatten och Avfall an operations and investment controller for a 60% assignment starting October 1 through February 2027.
About the assignment
We are looking for a controller who will be responsible for both operations and investments. Operations includes responsibility for operational activities within the recycling centers for waste, and investments within both waste and water/sewage.
The assignment runs from October 1, 2026 to February 28, 2027 with possibility of extension. The scope is 60% (3 days per week) and remote work is possible by agreement after the training period.
Your responsibilities
Standard controller tasks such as:
Manage, monitor and analyze the organization's finances
Work with forecasts, monthly and annual reports, accruals and other accounting entries, and ensure correct reporting
The role also involves providing support to managers and project leaders on financial matters
As an investment controller, support project leaders through all phases of projects, from planning and budgeting to follow-up and final reporting
Your qualifications
University degree or equivalent education in the field
At least one (1) year of professional experience in the field
Strong knowledge of MS Office or equivalent, especially Excel
Knowledge of analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, QlikView, Insight)
Knowledge of accounting systems (e.g., U4 Agresso, Raindance, Visma)
Experience with public sector accounting
Meritorious
Experience with Unit4 accounting system
